Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 2018 attackman/midfielder Christian Maienshein has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Ursinus College.

Christian Maienshein profile:

Christian Maienshein

High school: Springside Chestnut Hill Academy

Grad year: 2018

Position: Attack/Middie

College committed to:
Ursinus College

Club team: Bandits Lacrosse

Expected major: Economics

Why did you choose Ursinus? “I chose Ursinus because the moment I stepped on campus I knew it was where I wanted to continue my academic and athletic career. Coach (Jamie) Steele and Coach (Ian) Moore were both great during the recruiting process and they were always there if I had any questions or concerns. On top of all that, a tight-knit community and their economics program are what sealed the deal.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “We look to grow and improve as a team every day and end the season with a league title. We have a very talented senior class with multiple leaders who will keep us working hard.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank both of my parents for constantly taking me to tournaments and practices over the past few years. I would also like to thank my former coaches Mike DelGrande and Hank Resch for always pushing me to improve as a player. Finally I would like to thank all of my friends for their support during this lengthy process.”

Other schools considered: Wagner, Dickinson, Franklin & Marshall, Salisbury
