Episcopal Academny 2019 short-stick midfielder Quinn Chambers has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University.

Grad year: 2019

College committed to: Johns Hopkins University

Club team: Dukes LC

Lacrosse honors: Finalist for Under Armour Fab 40 game, started as sophomore on Episcopal, won Sweetlax with Dukes

Expected major: Film Media Studies

Why did you choose Johns Hopkins? “I chose it for the elite education combined with the best lacrosse conferenc.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “To compete for an Inter-Ac Championship.”

Thank you’s: “I want to thank Episcopal Academy’s Coach Bates for giving me the opportunity to compete for a starting position in my sophomore year and teaching me so much about the game of lacrosse. I also want to thank him for his guidance during the recruiting process. I want to thank Coach Ebe Helm and Coach Jason Christmas from the Dukes Lacrosse Club. They created an environment where we practice and play against the best competition and that has prepared me for the next level. I want to thank my brothers Gavin (EA Lacrosse Captain 2015) and my brother Tyler (EA Lacrosse 2013 and Penn State Lacrosse 2017). They spent a lot of time working with me in our backyard. And I want to thank my parents for their love, support, and for driving me everywhere.”
