Central Bucks East 2019 attackman/midfielder Ryan Stout has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Sacred Heart University.

Ryan Stout profile:

Ryan Stout

High school: Central Bucks East High School, Doylestown, Pa

Position: attack/middie

Grad year: 2019

College committed to: Sacred Heart University

Club team: Dukes

Lacrosse honors: Suburban One All-Conference Attack, Duke’s 1 Offensive MVP at Battle of Baltimore Championship team, Liberty Bell Challenge and Battle of Baltimore All-Star

Academic honors: Honor Roll

Expected major: Business Management/Marketing

Why did you choose Sacred Heart? “SHU has both great academic and athletic programs. I plan to major in Business Management/Marketing and the Jack Welch College of Business has an outstanding reputation. Coach Basti and his staff run an up-tempo offense that fits my style of play. I was looking for a school that would allow me to compete and push myself to the limit.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “After making it to the State Semifinal game last year against Avon Grove, we are looking to take the next step and win the State title this year.”

Thank You: I would like to thank my high school coaches for helping me improve my game each year I have been at East. I would also like to thank the Dukes coaching staff for all they have done for me on and off the field. In addition, I would like to give a shoutout to both my high school and club teammates for supporting me and driving me to get better each time we play together. Last but not least, I would like to thank my parents for the countless hours they have devoted into getting me to this point!”
