Haverford High 2017 goalie Danny Tierney has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Stevens Tech, because it has an extremely strong engineering company accompanied with a great lacrosse team. Also, it’s at a location that cannot be beaten.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “I think we will be one of, if not the strongest teams in the Central League. We have a large amount of starters returning backed by great depth, and an ambitious new head coach.”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my parents more than anyone, because without them my lacrosse career would be nothing; my brother for getting me into the sport at such a young age; Steve Young for helping me out more than anyone in the recruiting process; Mark Daly for teaching me how to play, and always sticking with me throughout the years; Bill Farrell for always helping me out; my coaches Dan Greenspun, Greg Decina, Ebe Helm; lastly, but not least, my boy Vince Garman.”
