Eastern York 2017 midfielder Jimmy Kurnik has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Eastern University.

Why did you choose this school? “I chose this school because of its perfect combination of athletics and academics. Coach (Kevin) Wallace made me feel right at home and the second I stepped on campus I knew this was where I wanted to be.”

HS team’s outlook for 2017 season?
“We have a talented roster coming back so I believe we have the opportunity to win a county championship and make a long run in districts.”
