Villa Maria Academy 2018 goalie Madeline Medve has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Why did you choose Widener? “I chose Widener because of the beautiful campus, great atmosphere, proximity to home, and the great coaching staff and team.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “We are a talented team but we need to buckle down and focus. That being said we could go far into playoffs after hopefully winning our league.”
Thank You: “I want to first of all thank my mom for her support and for helping me get everywhere I need to be including all lacrosse events. I want to also thank my all my goalie coaches throughout the years but especially Mar Fratoni and Nikki Bonaduce. Without them I would not be half the goalie I am today. Finally I want to thank my first club team coach, Kelli Romano. Coach Kelli gave me the confidence to keep playing even in the tough times and I can never repay her for that.”
