Why did you choose UD? “UD has a well regarded academic program that fit what I want to study. It also has a strong athletic reputation, and I have rooted on their teams for as long as I can remember. When I actually visited the academic campus, I really fell in love with it. I enjoyed the atmosphere and felt very comfortable and welcomed by both the coaches and players on the team. In addition, my Mom is a proud alumna, so being a legacy was also a factor. I am so excited to represent my home state at the University of Delaware!”
HS team’s team’s 2018 outlook/goals? “While we graduated 3 accomplished senior leaders last year, we have a strong group of talented players returning this season. After losing in the state semi-finals last year, we’re hoping to make a state championship title run in 2018!”
Thank You: “First, I want to thank my future coach, Kateri Linville, and the rest of the coaches and staff at UD for the opportunity to play for you. I know you will challenge me to be the best on and off the field and I am looking forward to making you proud!
“I have been fortunate to have some amazing coaches and mentors since I began playing! I am so appreciative of my South Jersey Select club director K.C. Knobloch, and all of my SJS club and clinic coaches for making me a better player. I want to thank my high school coach, Feffie Barnhill, for her legendary knowledge and appreciation of the game. I would like to thank Eric Fenwick for all of his support and for helping me build my speed and strength. I would like to thank my club and high school teammates who have helped me grow and become a better teammate.
“Finally, I want to thank my youth coaches that made lacrosse fun and shared their love of lacrosse with me – Lara Cini, Caitlin Larmann, Coley Ricci and Rob Julian.
“Most importantly, I want to thank my family for their endless support and for scheduling vacations and everything else around tournaments and camps.”
