Haverford High 2019 defender Julia Klein has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Virginia Commonwelth University.

College committed to: Virginia Commonwealth University

Club team: Philly Blast

Lacrosse honors: Philly Showcase All-Star Team

Academic honors, service: Honor Roll, Student Senate, Best Buddies

Expected major: Engineering

Why did you choose VCU? “I chose VCU because of the incredible opportunities available both academically and within its lacrosse program. I know that I will be challenged both in the classroom and on the lax field. During my visit, I felt an instant connection with the campus, players and wonderful coaches.”

HS team’s 2018 outlook: “Our team has experienced Varsity players returning as well as some talented underclassmen to add to our roster. The breadth of talent and dedication is the make-up for success! Many of us have played together for years; we are looking forward to making a return to the District I playoffs with determination for a successful season!”
