Garnet Valley 2019 draw specialist/attack Madi McKee has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at La Salle University.

Why did you choose this college? “I chose LaSalle University because of many reasons, one being the coaches. The head coach, Coach Candace (Bossell) and the other coaches are exactly what I was looking for in a coaching staff. I like how close the campus is to home and they have an excellent communication program in which I am interested in pursuing. Also, I like the direction the campus and lacrosse program are moving towards. The vision Coach Candace has for her lacrosse program by the time I attend La Salle is one that I can’t wait to be a part of.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “For our 2017 high school lacrosse season we are anticipating a lot of new things, including new players. We expect them all to bring a great deal of versatility and help with a balanced attack. On our defensive end, our defense will be making lots of forced turnovers and making some big plays. We expect to have a great season.”
Thank Yous: “My mom is someone who has helped me through this entire process. She has helped me with contacting coaches and getting me on their campus’s. My grandparents have helped contribute; they always come to my games and are my biggest fans. I would like to also thank Coach Brooke (Fritz) for helping me get in contact with La Salle. She has helped me with communicating with the coaches at La Salle. I would also like to thank my high school coach, Coach (Jenny) Purvis for the opportunity to be part of the starting line up.”
