La Salle University’s Lexi Kucia (Archbishop Carroll) was recently featured in US Lacrosse Magazine.
Kucia is a sophomore who underwent a serious car accident in her senior year of high school that doctors informed her would end her lacrosse career. Despite this, Kucia committed to play lacrosse at La Salle and arrived in the fall ready to play.
After suffering from a torn ACL injury in the second week of fall practice, Kucia was forced to redshirt for her freshman season. The story details both incidents while explaining her road to recovery.
