Description of camp: These training sessions will be up-tempo and high energy. Lacrosse used to be known by the slogan, “the fastest game on two feet.” A lot of lacrosse these days would not be described this way.

Our sessions will embrace that fast-paced style. Lacrosse has the potential to be beautiful, artistic, creative and mesmerizing. Our lessons and drills are designed to foster that spirit while at the same time teach and reinforce a foundation of strong fundamentals and high lacrosse IQ. When played right, lacrosse is extremely fun to play and watch. We will show kids how to “play right.”

Camp staff: Sessions will be run by Joe Proud, the TCG owner/director. Coach Proud’s experience includes serving as head coach at Harriton for the past 4 years, 17 years coaching at the college level, working with various clubs throughout the area and country, and coaching countless camps and clinics. Proud grew up outside Syracuse, NY, where he was captain of his West Genesee HS team before going to Duke Univ., where he was a captain and All-American.

Colin Fleming will also help lead the staff. After starring at St. Joe’s Prep, Coach Fleming went on to be a 4-year starter at midfield at the Univ. of Massachusetts. Following graduation, Fleming was drafted by the Boston Cannons of the MLL.
