Registration is still open for the 24th Annual PLA Golf Classic, which will be held on Columbus Day (Monday, 10/10) at Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club in Fort Washington, PA.
Spots for this popular event are filling up and registration ends October 5th, space permitting. Individuals and teams are encouraged to register as soon as possible – click here.
The PLA is the local chapter of US Lacrosse. The event supports the PLA’s mission to promote the game of lacrosse in the Greater Philadelphia region. Last year’s PLA Golf Classic at Manufacturers’ featured 100 golfers and 62 corporate and individual sponsors and helped the PLA raised over $25,000. The event has raised over $400,000 since its inception to grow the game in the PLA’s chapter region.

Recent event proceeds have enabled the PLA to support the HEADstring Project, the PIAA Public Lacrosse League and youth and middle school programs in Philadelphia; conduct/sponsor high school and youth coaches’ clinics; organize/underwrite the Annual PLA High School Awards Recognition Banquet; and host induction ceremonies for the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame (Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter).
