From Press Release

The 24th Annual Philadelphia Lacrosse Association Golf Outing took place on Columbus Day, October 10th, at Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club in Fort Washington, PA. Ninety-two golfers and over 40 corporate and individual sponsors enjoyed blue skies and early fall foliage on a gorgeous “Indian Summer” day and helped the PLA raised over $17,000 to further the PLA’s mission.

The PLA, the local chapter of US Lacrosse, will use the proceeds to help support US Lacrosse and other programs and initiatives in the PLA’s chapter area. Golf outing and other funds will be made available in grants to help the Philadelphia School District’s middle grades program, the PIAA sanctioned high school teams in the City and other diversity and inclusion efforts, including the HEADstring Project (
