Ridley midfielder/face-off specialist Cade Heverly has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Georgetown University.

Club Affiliation: HEADstrong/ Sweetlax National

Major lacrosse honors: All-Delco HM 2014,2015 and Central League HM 2014, 2015

Academic honors: Congressional Scholar Athlete Award for state of PA

What will you major in/study? Pre-Med

Why did you choose this school? “I choose Georgetown because of the great academics and lacrosse program.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “I tore my ACL/meniscus in the 2016 season and I’m eager to get back to lacrosse in 2017. We bring back a lot of returning starters from last year and hope to make a playoff push.”

People to thank: “First, I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done for me. I would also like to thank my high school coaches, Kevin Ellers, Doug Ellers, Rory Friel, Bill McGlone, Chris Crooks,and Bill McMenamin; my youth coaches Matt Flynn and Jeff Murray.
