Andrew Clark

High School: Malvern Prep

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Goalie

College Choice: Christopher Newport University

Club Affiliation: Fusion Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse Honors: 2014 Hotbeds All-Star game, New Jersey Shore Lacrosse showcase All-Star team, E-20 Goalie camp

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose CNU? “I chose CNU for the great academics, location of the school, and culture of the lacrosse program. CNU lacrosse is ranked 11th in the south region, and with Coach (Mikey) Thompson’s vision, will only get better each year. I think that CNU is a great fit for me and look forward to competing for a national Championship.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We lost a lot of power house seniors who set the example, to the rest of the team, of how Malvern lacrosse should be played. It’s going to be hard to replace all that talent. However, I think that certain players are ready and willing to step up and take on those leadership roles. I believe that we have a great opportunity to win the Inter-Ac title this year.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through the recruiting process. I would also like to thank Coach McEvoy, Coach Macfarlane, Coach Holmes, Coach McCormick, Coach Mackrides, and Coach Kaut.”
