High School: Hatboro Horsham HS

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Faceoff Specialist

College Choice: Cabrini University

Club Affiliation: Philly Elite LB3

Major lacrosse honors: 3rd team All-Conference

What will you major in/study? International Business

Why did you choose this school? “The campus is very close to my home, and by far one of the best I’ve seen. It offered everything I needed as a student and as a lacrosse player.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “I’m very excited for the season, as I have been training all summer. We are bringing back some key players from the 2017 class and are going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

People to thank: “I have to thank my parents for always being there, taking me to training, and being at every game home or away no matter how far it was. I’d like to thank Coach Kurek, my high school coach, for always trying to make me not only a better player, but a better person as well; Joe and Steve Palo, for training me in the off season; Coach White and Coach Banks, for allowing me to play for their club (Philly Elite). And a huge thanks to Coach Bodnar at the PFL; without him I don’t think I would be the player I am today and to be able to compete at the college level. I would also like to thank Jake Durkin. Without Jake, I never would have stuck to lacrosse, he made me fall in love with the game, and I looked up to him. He made me want to be a better player, and I play for him every time I step on the field.”

Maplezone Sports Institute, the official sponsor for Phillylacrosse.com boys’ recruits, congratulates Joey Taylor. MSI is located on Conchester Highway (Rt. 322) in Garnet Valley.MSILacrosse 280x60
