Griffin Pyott profile:

Griffin Pyatt
Griffin Pyatt

High School: Exeter Township Senior High School

Grad year: 2017

Position: Defense

College Choice: Marywood University

Club affiliation: Black Bear LC 2017-AA

Lacrosse Honors: UpLax Summer Shootout 2016 All-Star

Academic Honors: National Honor Society, Honor Roll since 7th Grade

What will you major in/study: Athletic Training

HS team’s outlook for 2017: “We lost a lot of key players, but so did a lot of the other schools in Berks County. If we all step up, I could see us making it into County and District Playoffs.”

Why I chose this school:
“I chose Marywood because I thought it was a good fit for me from an academic and lacrosse mindset. I liked the Coach Perrelle and Coach Nowell, I liked the players that I met on my visits and thought I fit in, and Marywood gives me the opportunity to get a degree in Athletic Training while also being able to continue to play lacrosse.”

People to thank: “I’d like to thank my parents, my sister, and the rest of my family for their endless support and all the sacrifices they’ve made for me over the years. I’d also like to thank Bryan Churchey and Sean Tischler, my travel coaches, for coaching and helping me to become a better lacrosse player.”

Other colleges considered: Chatham University, Widener University, Georgian Court University, and DeSales University
