Nate Emrick

High School: Episcopal Academy

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Attack/Midfield

College Choice: Muhlenberg College

Club Affiliation: Freedom Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: 2015 Blue Chip 225 Elite All Star, 2015 FLG in 3D Summer Shootout All Star, 2015 National Premier Showcase All Star, 2014 FLG in 3D Summer Shootout All Star, 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic All Star

What will you major in/study? Finance

Why did you choose this school? “I chose Muhlenberg mainly because of my relationship with Coach (Jake) Plunkett. Muhlenberg is also close to home and relatively small in size, which is something I was looking for in a school. It’s a great place and I am looking forward to spending my college years playing at Muhlenberg.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “This should be a great season for Episcopal. We have one of the strongest senior classes that we’ve had in years along with a lot of young talent. With a new head coach this year in Coach Bates, I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table. We have the potential to do win a lot of games this year.”

People to thank: “First, the biggest think you goes to my family, especially my dad for pushing me and doing pretty much everything lacrosse-wise that there is to do. Thank you to my mom for supporting me, and thank you to Dave and Ana for throwing around with me in the back yard. I’d also like to thank my club coach, Bob Miller, and my high school coach, Andy Hayes, for helping me with the recruiting process and also being role models. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Chenworth for introducing me and my brother to the game of lacrosse and being my first coach.”
