Colin Crowley

High School: Delbarton School, N.J.

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Midfield

College choice:
Villanova University

Club Affiliation: Blue Star

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: NXT Showcase All Star, Jake Reed, Fab Frosh

What will you major in/study? Business/Finance

Why did you choose this school? “It has a strong business school with an outstanding reputation. The lacrosse program is deep in history and tradition consistently ranked nationally. Coach (Michael) Corrado and Coach (Simon) Connor are always working to improve the team and advance their rankings.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “Delbarton hopes to compete for the state title this year, but every year the competition gets tougher. We have a strong core of seniors and juniors returning with experience. Every game is a challenge, it includes out of state teams like Chaminade, St. Anthony’s and Malvern Prep, which will get us ready for the NJ state playoffs.”

People to thank: “I would like to thank my parents and siblings; my high school coaches, Chuck Ruebling, Matt Kovachik, Craig Fleishman, Steven Coffey, Peter Durning and Harry Dorne; my summer coaches of Blue Star, MV Whitlow, Don Green, Bryan Hopper; and Pat McDonough of NJ/Philly Mavericks. Finally, I would like to thank my Ridgewood youth coach, Paul Mularz, who fueled my passion for lacrosse.”

Other schools considered: Bryant, Richmond, Amherst, Middlebury, Lafayette
