Zach Granger

High School: Penncrest High School

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Defense

College Choice: Marquette University

Club Affiliations: The Dukes Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse Honors: 2016 Honorable Mention All-Delco

Academic Honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study?
“I will most likely major in history in order to pursue law school.”

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Marquette because of the strength of academics as well as the great culture that has been built at Marquette. On top of all of that it will be awesome to share the field with my older brother, Ryan, for 3 more years.”

HS team’s outlook for 2017 season?
“We are very young but at the same time we are talented. The goal ever year is to get back to States; we as a team can definitely do that, but we have to be ready to go to work.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my parents for everything. None of this would have ever happened without them. Also want to thank Ryan for making me into the player and person I am today.”

“Thank you to my Penncrest coaches, Coach Matsinger, Coach Pettit, Coach Rumford, Coach Derrick and Coach Poole. They have been amazing for the last 4 years and have molded me into the player I am now.”

“I also want to thank Coach Ebe, Coach Christmas, and Coach Mackrides for helping with this process and for putting me in the best situations in order to succeed.”

“Lastly, I want to especially thank Coach Amplo and his staff for giving me this opportunity.”
