Sean Christman

High School: Malvern Prep

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: face-off specialist

College Choice: Boston University (formerly Fairfield)

Club Affiliations: Freedom

Lacrosse Honors: 2015 Philly Under Armor top 88, 2016 All Main-Line Honorable Mention, 2016 Philly Under Armor Top 44,

Academic honors: Distinguished Honors, National Honors Society

What will you major in/study? Business Administration

Why did you choose this school? “BU is a great combination of athletics and academics, is located in a great area, and has a young lacrosse team that is on the rise. I am excited for the opportunity to play in the Patriot League and play for Coach (Ryan) Polley, a Malvern Prep grad.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We lost a strong senior class to graduation, but return a lot of our key players from last year. We have many young players ready to step up into major roles this year, and we should be in great position to compete for an Inter-Ac Title and an Inter-Ac Challenge Title.”

People to thank: “First and foremost I would like to thank my parents for all of their support throughout my career. I would also like to thank my Malvern coach, John McEvoy, and our assistant coaches Matt Mackrides, Steve Holmes, Matt McCormick, and Will Haus. I also want to thank my club coaches, Bob Miller and Kevin Goforth from Freedom Lacrosse.”
