College Committed to: United States Military Academy – West Point

Club affiliation: Fusion Lacrosse, Penn Lax All Stars

What will you major in/study? Pre Med

Why did you choose the school? “I selected West Point for a number of reasons: the rich tradition of excellence, the level of discipline required to be a cadet, the very high academic standards, the facilities are top notch, and the amazing coaching staff. Coach (Joe) Alberici and Coach (Kyle) Georgalas made me and my family feel at home and very comfortable with the process. I also feel that the school fits well with my personality.”

HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “I am very excited and expect big things from our team this year. We had some huge wins last year against some top rated programs: Moorestown, Shawnee, Clearview, and St. Joes Prep (PA). We lost some great players and solid senior leadership to graduation. It is now up to the guys that are on the team to step up and fill those spots. It should be another good year.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for their unwavering support and the huge amount of time that they have both invested in me so that I can follow my goals and dreams. I would also like to thank Coaches Ryan Sankey and Joey Sankey for working with me to significantly improve my lacrosse skills, lacrosse IQ, mental preparation, and toughness. Thank you to the coaching staff at Fusion Lacrosse, Penn Lax All Stars, and Lenape High School Lacrosse. I would like to thank Dawn Shelko and Andrew Streilein for their support and encouragement. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Shay Cowan for coaching me since 3rd grade and believing in me when not many other people did.”
