Alexander Dean profile:

Alexander Dean

High School: Haddonfield Memorial High School, NJ

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Attack/Midfield

College Choice: Ursinus College

Club Affiliation: Braveheart Lacrosse

Lacrosse Honors: Haddonfield Varsity freshman-junior, MVP Towson All-Star

What will you major in/study? Business/Economics

Why did you choose Ursinus? “I chose Ursinus for not only the great lacrosse program, but the opportunities surrounding the school with its academic reputation. Talking to Coach (David) Page and Coach (Jamie) Steele they made the school seem like the absolute best fit for me. Then on my first visit I was able to see this first hand. I also love the ability to stay close to home and right by Philadelphia. The rigorous academics and competing at a high level made it a very easy decision.”

HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “We are a young team with a lot of talent in different places. We just need to find a way to bring it all together. Last year was the program’s best year in my three years with some huge upset wins. We look forward to going further and further into playoffs with a conference championship as well.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my family and friends for the endless support they have given me. My parents have provided me with everything and I cannot thank them enough. They have pushed me to become not only the best lacrosse player I can be, but also the best person I can be.

“I would also like to thank my teammates and my coaches to pushing me to my full potential in practice everyday. I would especially like to thank my High School coaches Damon Legato and Coach Wooden. Additionally, I would like to thank the Braveheart program especially Connor Fries and Coach McDonough. Finally, I would like to thank Coach Steele and Coach Page for making the recruiting process so easy.”
