Central Bucks South High School 2017 attackman Justin Abbonizio has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Shenandoah University.

Justin Abbonizio profile:

Justin Abbonizio
Justin Abbonizio

High School: Central Bucks South High School

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Attack

College Choice: Shenandoah University

Club Affiliation: Bucks Select 2017

Lacrosse Honors: Medalist at 2013 keystone Games, “All Match team” in the Matchlax showcase

Service Projects: Friends Group, Titans Connect

What will you major in/study? Criminal Justice

Why did you choose Shenandoah? “From the beginning, it was a place that I could see myself in the future. I really enjoyed the campus and the atmosphere that came with the school. From talking to Coach (Tim) Marshall and the players it seemed as if it was a perfect fit.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “Not Making the playoffs in 2016 and losing a few key players is going to be a loss. But with a few new additions to the team we are looking good and will defiantly compete for a spot in the playoffs.”

Thank You: “I would first like to thank my Mom, Dad and my brother Colin for supporting me and always pushing me to be the best I can be.

“I would also like to thank all my coaches coming up though the Warrington lacrosse program, and Bucks Select. I would like to Thank Coach Jim Mithoefer who taught me the game from a young age and taught me to grow as player.

“I would finally like to Thank my high school coaches Mike Strayline, Stan Kreutzer, Andy Fisher and the rest of the staff who taught me how to succeed at the next level.”
