What will you major in/study? Oceanography
Why did you choose Navy? “The Naval Academy is an amazing school with so many great opportunities and it has the program’s I want to study. I will get the chance to travel the world, while serving my country. The views I will see every day being on campus are amazing and the technology that I will be able to use is incredible. Coach (Cindy) Timchal and Coach (Gabby) Capuzzi were amazing on my initial visit. Playing for and learning from them is an opportunity I did not want to miss out on.”
Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We lost some strong players this past season, but we have a lot of returning starters. As long as we continue to work together, we will be tough to beat.”
Thank You: “Thank you to my high school coach, Joe Tornetta for pushing me this past season. He really took me out of my comfort zone and taught me a lot about the game. My Phantastix coaches, Jess and Annie for motivating me and the rest of the team on those really cold or really hot days when we played two or three games in a row. Thanks also for helping me navigate the recruiting process and keeping me sane!
“Thanks to Coach Yusko, Coach Frazier, and Coach Beers for developing a program that provides me and the rest of the team with opportunities to be seen. My MESA coaches, Peter Rohr, Tom King, and Scott Snyder for all the terrific training and all the work getting us into the fall showcase events.
“Both my parents were amazing supporters. They drove me to practices, camps, and tournaments all over the East Coast. They encouraged me and kept me calm during it all. I would finally like to thank my teammates for pushing me. Their companionship and support on and off the field really helped me to grow as a player. I could’ve never done this alone. Thank you all for your help.”
