Kingsway Regional (N.J.) 2017 midfielder Taylor Sweeney has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Sacred Heart University.

What will you major in/study? “As of this time, I have not declared a major. I am interested in education or exceeding science.”
Why did you choose this school? “I chose SHU because of the size and its proximity to home. SHU also offers a wide choice in academics.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “Our team is young with only three seniors this year. We have a lot of talent and will be competitive in our league.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my club coach, Caitlin Kelley. Coach Kelley gave me a lot of advice during the decision process and was such a great help being the ‘liaison’ between Sacred Heart and myself. She was always up front and honest when speaking with college coaches. Also, my parents have been supportive and continue to encourage me to be my best on and off the field.”
