Shenna Grady profile:

Shenna Grady
Shenna Grady

High School: West Chester Bayard Rustin

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Goalie

College Choice: Chestnut Hill College

Club Affiliation: Ultimate Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: The Launch All Showcase Team

Academic honors: National Business Honor Society

What will you major in/study? Business Administration

Why did you choose this school? “I chose CHC because of the many opportunities it has available to students and for its location to the city. I also enjoy its small school environment, and individualized attention to students. The lacrosse team was so welcoming ever since I stepped foot on campus and it seemed like the best option for me.”

Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We lost some key seniors along with a strong assistant coach but, we are already hard at work with conditioning for the season. I think our sophomores and juniors will step up to fill the holes they left. We really shocked ourselves last season and will look to build upon that momentum.”

People to thank: “I want to thank my parents for supporting me since I picked up my first stick. Thank you to my cousins, Maggie and Maeve Koch, for inspiring me to play the game. Also,I want to thank Devin Schmidt for developing me, and having faith in me to play at a higher level. In addition, I want to thank Kelli Romano for always inspiring me to stay with the game and making it a joy to come to practice; and my teammates for always pushing me to be better and allowing me to be apart of their team. I would also like to thank the Smiley family and Chessock family for being my #1 cheerleaders.”

Other schools considered: Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, West Chester University
