Advil started the game between the longtime rivals with a quick three-goal run, but Advil used strong goaltending and a potent offense to tally six consecutive goals for a 6-3 halftime lead. Advil later led, 9-5, but Kelly’s stormed back with a four-goal run on goals by Damien Ramondo, Matt Silverio and two by Sean Manion to tie the score at 9.

Advil responded, and with time running out scored off a dodge and dump at the 16 second mark. Kelly’s Craig Brown won the ensuing faceoff and raced down the field for a shot which was saved, but Ramondo picked up the rebound and stuffed in the equalizer with 3 seconds remaining in regulation.

Kelly’s defense stiffened in OT, led by goalie Ari Sherwood’s numerous key saves and LSM Josh Mattson’s clean takeaway. Then Wolfington drove from X on a power inside roll in heavy traffic to tally the game winner.
