Amherst senior MF Crump (@gapatriotslax) earns USILA Third-Team All-American, Scholar All-American

The Amherst College men’s lacrosse team placed five players – including senior midfielder Connor Crump (Germantown Academy) – on the USILA/Nike All- America Teams.

Attackman Quinn Moroney ’16 and defender Ryan Cassidy ’16 were named USILA First Team All-American, while short stick middie Crump ’16 was selected USILA Third Team All-American. Midfielder Dylan Park ’16 and long stick midfielder Rob Butko ’16 each earned USILA Honorable Mention All-America praise.

Earning USILA Third Team All-America recognition is Crump, who was instrumental in Amherst’s success this season. Crump, who was also named First Team All-NESCAC and NEILA First Team All-New England, caused 14 opponent turnovers which was fourth on the team, and added 34 ground balls.

A key component in transition, Crump also fired in six goals and added an assist during his senior campaign. He concluded his career with 41 caused turnovers, 103 ground balls, 12 goals and eight assists.
