High School: Agnes Irwin

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Defense

College Choice: Brown University

Club Affiliation: Phantastix

Lacrosse Honors: PAISSA State Finalists, Inter-Ac Co-champions, PAISSA State Champions 2015, Inter-Ac Champions

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Brown? “I chose Brown for two reasons: athletics and academics. Academically, Brown offers an open curriculum, which will allow me to explore my interests and ultimately pursue a field that I am passionate about.

“On the lacrosse field, Brown has been extremely competitive in what is a very challenging league. I enjoyed meeting the girls on the team and really look forward to improving my game under the leadership of Coach (Keely) McDonald.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “In 2016 we will be playing some of the top teams in the country. If our team pulls together, as we have done in the past, we will defend our PAISSA and Inter-Ac championship titles. My teammates and I have been working hard the past few years to establish Agnes Irwin as a highly competitive team and we hope our hard work will pay off this year.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my family, for always believing in me. I am grateful to my parents who have driven me to countless camps, practices, tournaments, and games.

“Next, I would like to thank my teammates who are extremely talented and fun to be around. I also owe a huge thank you to Coach Duck for always pushing me to do my best and believing in me every step of the way.”
