– New Players will receive custom sublimated uniform—reversible, shooter shirt and 2 pairs of shorts
with pockets.
PROGRAM BENEFITS
– Silverbacks practices twice per week for 2-2.5 hours per practice!
– Superior Coaches – our staff is made up of college graduates not college players. Our staff members are coaches at the high school or college level and are prepared to handle players of different skill levels and abilities. http://www.delawarelacrosseacademy.com/show/39/DLA-Coaching-Staff
– Four goalkeeper coaches for 6 available positions.
– Coaching Consistency. Our coaches stay with our program which helps with teaching system based lacrosse not individual lacrosse. We assign coaches to stay with a team so these coaches get to learn the strengths and weaknesses of the players they coach which helps with building team chemistry and success.
– Player Marketing Assistance. We help connect players to coaches and coaches to players helping to find the perfect fit based on academics, location, finances and lacrosse.
– Recruiting, Financial Aid and Admissions Process Assistance.
– New website for program participants to build a Player Profile to add bio information, academic and athletic achievements and highlight film links. http://www.delawarelacrosseacademy.com/profile/13/Jakob-Katzen
– Program partnerships – opportunity to play with other players and other teams from other clubs. Silverbacks has Partnered with West Florida Silverbacks, Buffalo Lacrosse Academy, Brotherhood Lacrosse (NJ) and Dallas Silverbacks with more coming!
Silverbacks Lacrosse teams are directed by Christian Zwickert who was a D1 and D3 college assistant and head coach for 14 years. The program is looking for advanced players who are looking to make a serious commitment to their development as individuals in a team environment.
Mission – “Development of the Player” / Philosophy – “Teach Not Tell.”
