Philly’s Growney (Conestoga), Trabaudo (Polytech-DE) help Baby Blues win HS title at @lakeplacidlax

Conestoga 2017 midfielder Scottie Rose Growney and Polytech (DE) 2016 midfielder Jamie Trabaudo helped the Baby Blues (a team consisting of UNC commits in 2018, 2017 and 2018 graduation years) claim the High School Gold (top division) championship last week at the Lake Placid Summit tournament.

The Baby Blue finished 5-0 and beat Lady Roc from Rochester in the Championship game, 10-5. Goaltender Taylor Moreno (Huntington, N.Y.) recorded nine saves, four interceptions and two assists in the victory for the Baby Blues and earned the MVP recognition from her coaches.
