AJ Lucarini (Defense)
Outlook for 2015 season: “The expectations are high this spring for the 2015 season. We have a lot of seniors who have stepped up this year and have taken to a new coach and a new system which is not always easy to do at this point in their careers. As we start the year, there will be some ups and down, but with Michael Marchese (Notre Dame) in goal, hopefully he can mask some of the early season hiccups that are inevitable. He has been playing excellent so far and is a great leader for the defense and the team as a whole. Captains Andrew Watts (Elizabethtown), Christian Corcoran, and Stephen Bradley (Scranton), along with all the seniors have embraced their leadership roles and when we combine them with a very talented junior class, the outlook is promising.”
Lansdale Catholic
Head Coach: Sean Gracey, 3rd Season
Last year’s record: 7-12 (4-6)
Key players lost: Justin Cook (M,f/o), Dom Moscariello
Top returning players:
Ryan McDonald- Sophomore (D)
Grady Kelly- Sophomore (A)
Phillip White- Junior (M)
Bobby Bausman- Sophomore (G)
Other players to watch:
Joe Walsh- Sophomore (A)
PJ O’Connor, Freshman (M)
Andrew McClintock- Senior (D)
Outlook for 2015 season: “Lansdale Catholic looks to its defense to anchor a team loaded with young talent. With 3 seniors, 3 juniors, 19 sophomores, and 11 freshmen it will look to its underclassmen to mature and develop in a strong Catholic League in 2015 that boasts perennial power teams in LaSalle and St. Joe’s Prep as well as a strong Archbishop Ryan and Archbishop Wood squads. LC will use its out of conference schedule to prepare its young talent for the future, facing C.B. West and Abington.”
