The National 175 Summer Showcase is pleased to announce that its 5th annual Summer Showcase will be held on July 25-27th at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. Over the past four years, National 175 has continued to increase the quality and quantity of those attending.
Indeed, in 2015, our summer showcase had players registered and showcasing their skills from 28 different states and from over 150 different lacrosse clubs and players from several regions of Canada. these players all came with the same goal: to play well in front of a large mix of Division I, II and III college lacrosse coaches. Seventy coaches amongst 3,000 players that show up for some large tournaments may not seem like a good ratio but 70 coaches amongst 400-500 players is a more constructive ratio.

The National 175 mission is to provide talented players that are identified as strong candidates to play at the college level and offer these players a platform to showcase their skills. While we can certainly suggest that we expect a strong turnout in 2016, it may be easier for you to simply reflect on the facts of who actually showed up in each of the past 4 years. The list grows more impressive each year and in 2015, we had 70 college coaches all of which are listed on our site but this list included coaches from such great programs as:

National 175 directors have already had a great amount of interest from many colleges returning for 2016 so it is shaping up to be another great event.

We plan each summer to take on 175 players in each grad year. Once the spots are filled, apps are placed onto a waitlist. Spots do come open off the waitlist for various reasons. We expect to be offering spots in each grad year until each position spot is filled.
