Shawnee (N.J.) 2017 defenseman Garrett Woods has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Stockton University.

What will you major in/study? Biology
Why did you choose the school? “It had everything I was looking for in a college: A great lacrosse program and coach, its very competitive at the DIII level, a large number of students, a big open campus, and not too far from home. I took my time choosing and everything seems perfect about it.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “I think our season will definitely be a positive one. We have a good group of lacrosse players who have the will to win and won’t quit. No doubt we’ll be the team to beat!”

I also owe it to all my coaches I’ve been lucky enough to have – (current) SouthShore coaches JC Valore and Adam Cummins, my Shawnee coach Erik Stilley and (past) even my rec coach Rob Bartholemew.
