West Chester East 2017 goalie Phillip Laborde has committed to play MCLA Division I lacrosse at Louisiana State University.

Why did you choose the school? “I choose LSU because of its academic fit for me, the beautiful campus, and having it be in my home state of Louisiana.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 HS season? “This year we have a lot of talent on our roster and have a very talented, intelligent, and experienced coaching staff to help guide us. I believe that we can be very competitive this year and have something to be excited about.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for helping me with everything I needed since I first started playing and giving me their constant support. With out them I couldn’t get to practice or even have a stick to use. I would also like to thank all of my coaches who have helped me over the years. They’ve not only helped me develop as a lacrosse player on the field but as a young man off the field with giving me life lessons and giving me guidance with everything I needed. I also need to give an exclusive shout out to my dog, Roux, who taught me what happens when I miss a ground ball in the back yard.”
