St. Joseph’s Preparatory School 2015 attackman Andrew Watts has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Elizabethtown College.
Andrew Watts ledger:
High School: St. Joseph’s Prep
Graduation Year: 2015
Position: Attack
College Choice: Elizabethtown College
Club Affiliation: Headstrong L.C
Lacrosse Honors: Varsity Captain, Summer Slam All-Star, NSCLA, Catholic League Finalists
What will you major in/study? Social Studies, Secondary Education
Why did you choose Elizabethtown? “Elizabethtown offers everything I looked for in a college from the community feel, location, Secondary Education department and a lacrosse program with a lot of potential.
“When I did my overnight visit, everyone on the team and the student body was more then welcoming. The lacrosse team moving to the Landmark conference allows for the team to be extremely competitive and to play for a NCAA Playoff bid. All of these factors combined made my decision very easy.”
Outlook for High School season? “With a new head varsity coach the team and myself are looking forward to some new ideas and perspectives. We have seniors who are ready to excel and underclassmen who are ready to step up and provide some real depth for the team. As a team we plan on playing in Hershey for the state title at the end of the year.:
Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents, brother, family and friends for the support they have offered me throughout the years. Without them none of this would be possible.
“Thank you to all of my coaches throughout the years especially Coach Andrew German, Coach Eric Gregg, Coach Michael Colleluori and Coach Paul Deppi.”
