Garnet Valley High School 2015 midfielder-attackman Ryan Carruthers has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Messiah College.

Why did you choose Messiah? “I chose Messiah College because of the fusion between spirituality and education. At this college I will be able to grow not only as a person and as a lacrosse player but as well as a Christian.”
Outlook for your High School team? “We have a great group of seniors who mix well with the underclassmen, we will be very competitive.”
Thank You: “I would first like to thank, above all, God. I would like to thank him for the opportunity to play the game I love.
“Next I would like to thank my parents, especially my father for teaching me the game. As well as my coaches, Frank Urso, Jim Snow, Joseph Kivlen, and Vincent Bonaddio for fostering a rich lacrosse environment in which I have been able to grow immensely as a player.
