The Episcopal Academy 2016 defenseman Matt Blommer has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.

Why did you choose ND? “Notre Dame has all I am looking for in a school. With its strong lacrosse program, emphasis on academic excellence and tremendous support for the student-athlete, Notre Dame was a perfect fit.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “I am really excited for this upcoming season. We have a strong senior class all over the field as well as some emerging young talent. Its difficult playing in one of the toughest leagues in the nation with teams like Haverford and Malvern, but I think we have the talent and the leadership to be a top contender for the Inter-Ac title.”
