St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) 2018 defender Elizabeth Pawlak has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Why did you choose this school? “I love the location and the campus and the overall experience I had when visiting. It is a great balance between challenging academics and competitive lacrosse. The head coach, Julie Young, and the players on the team were so welcoming and I felt right at home as soon as I stepped on campus.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We won the Catholic School League championship last year and hope to have another great season and do it again.”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my mom and dad for always supporting me and encouraging me throughout the entire process. Also, a special thanks to my coach, Dave Kotowski. He has had my back throughout my entire lacrosse career and has taught me to do my best on and off the field.
