High School: Friends’ Central School

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Haverford College

Club Affiliation: Quaker City

Lacrosse Honors: First team All Friends’ League, Second Team All-Friends’ League, Friends’ League Honorable Mention, All-Main Line Honorable Mention, Second Team All-Main Line

What will you major in/study? Undecided/Computer Science

Why did you choose Haverford? “I chose Haverford not only because it’s a great fit for me athletically, but the outstanding reputation it has for academics, the small class sizes, and the sense of community immediately attracted me to the school. Haverford also offers the perfect balance of athletic and academic opportunity. Then meeting the coach, Lauren Wray, and the rest of the team just sealed the deal for me and I cannot wait to be a part of the program.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Even though we lost a lot of seniors last year, we still have a lot of returning talent which will make us very competitive in the Friends’ School League, and I predict that we will make the playoffs again and hopefully have a good run in the PAISSA tournament, as we have been in years past.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my coaches, Lauren Becker Rubin, Diana Bleakley, Kylie Young, and George Dick, for the constant support, belief, and instruction which has allowed me to become the player I am today.

“I also would like to thank all of my teammates for not only being a great group of girls to play with but for also always pushing me to work harder.

“Last but not least, I would like to thank my parents for being extremely supportive throughout the process and for all the sacrifices they have made to make this all possible.”
