Michael Sowers and Evan Scott each had three goals and an assist and Mike Mullen scored three more while Paul Chung won 16 of 19 face-offs and Bobby McPeake posted 14 saves to lead host Upper Dublin to a key 11-8 non-league win Friday night over Springfield-Delco.Fusion-Lacrosse1-e14261234464991

The win closed a 17-1 season for the Suburban One American Conference champion cardinals and will help in the District 1 seedlings that are being announced later today.

The Cards took a 6-3 first-period lead and extended it to 8-4 after three periods but the Cougars (12-4) scored four goals in the final period.

Lucas Spence had five goals and an assist and James Spence posted 14 saves in goal for Springfield-Delco.

Radnor 13, Central Bucks East 2

The Raiders (13-5) closed their season with a key win for the District 1 seedings by outscoring the Patriots (15-2), 12-0, in the final three periods.

Jack Norton and Drew Ryan each had four goals and two assists and Jack Wilson netted three goals while Tom Meyers won 12 of 19 face-offs and Alex Andersen posted five saves.

Haverford School 16, Malvern Prep 10

Forry Smith had three goals and an assist and Grant Ament had a goal and eight assists to help the No. 1 and champion Fords down the Friars to close a 10-0 Inter-Ac League season.

Haverford School (22-0), which gained the top seed in the Inter-Ac Challenge, also got two goals and an assist from Phil Poquie and two goals from Drew Supinski. Alex deMarco posted 10 saves in goal.

For Malvern Prep (12-9, 7-3), Drew Schantz had three goals and an assist and Billy Coyle scored three goals.

Germantown Academy 10, Springside Chestnut Hill 6

Jim McAfee, Rob Barnett and James Diver each scored two goals for GA.

Episcopal Academy 10, Penn Charter 4

Curtis Zappala had three goals and three assists and Connor Ringwalt scored three as EA (31-6, 7-3) clinched the third seed in the Inter-Ac Challenge and finished in a tie with Malvern Prep for second in the final league standings 3g

Cody Sweeney had a goal and an assist for Penn Charter.

Hatboro-Horsham 17, Archbishop Ryan 12

Shane Taylor had four goals and scored his 200th career goal while becoming the first player in Archbishop Ryan history to reach 300 points. Also, Austin Slawter (3G, 1a) broke the Ryan all time career assist record (108) and notched hit 200th career point (fifth in school history).

Interboro 9, Council Rock South 8, OT

Dave Kilgore had six goals, including the game-winner to lead the Bucs to the non-league victory.

Tower Hill 17, Cape Henlopen 7

Andrew Pettit had two goals and two assists and notched his 300th career point while goalie Mike Gianforcaro had 13 saves for Tower Hill.
