Attackman Bradlee Lord, who helped lead Conestoga to three straight PIAA championships and went to Maryland as one of the nation’s top recruits, has transferred to Cornell and is eligible to play this spring as a junior.
Lord played in 18 games over two seasons at Maryland and registered two goals and five assists. Lord scored a goal and added an assist in his collegiate debut vs. Mount St. Mary’s, but saw his playing time diminish in his second year.
In 2012 Lord led the Pioneers to their third straight state title and was named a US Lacrosse, ESPN and Under Armour All-American who also earned First-Team All-Phillylacrosse.com honors. Lord was ranked the No. 4 freshman midfielder in the nation according to Inside Lacrosse and was the ninth recruit overall by Inside Lacrosse.
Lord scored four goals and added a pair of assists in the 2012 state championship game and finished the 2012 season with 77 points on 40 goals and 37 assists. He served as team captain as a senior.
