Abington Friends School has been named the Most Improved Team by the Pennsylvania Area Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association.
The team was honored last Thursday at the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association banquet at the Radnor Hotel.

This year Abington Friends did the following:

Snapped a 21-game Friends Schools League losing streak.
Won twp FSL league games for the first time since 2010-11.
Matched combined win total from 2013 & 2014 (4) after just five games this year.
Two League wins this year came against teams that beat AFS by 6 and 12 goals last year.
Finished 8-5 overall, bettering combined win total of last three years (7-32).
Had the second most wins in the last 20 years of the program.
Saw three graduating seniors commit to continue their lacrosse careers collegiately (College of Wooster, Guilford College, Howard University)
