While it might seem obvious that the more you have the stick in your hands, the better you will perform, that is not always the case. It is the “quality of the touches” you perform followed by the number of repetitions that makes the difference. Old School box-themed drills are designed to produce high repetitions in game simulated drills while we provide meaningful feedback to players in our sessions. Drills that reinforce quick decision making skills are utilized due to the small operating space and become increasingly complex as the sessions pass.
Old School curriculum is implemented by current Team USA Indoor assistant coach Adam Mueller. Coach Mueller is well known in the region for his skills with player development and after 19 seasons in the NLL (both as a player and a coach) he brings a wealth of knowledge and serious work ethic to the sessions. Sessions are workouts….it is that simple…this is not for the first year player and this is not for goalies.
