NCAA champion, 2009 Phillylacrosse.com POY Garrity will be guest coach at CrosseFire clinic

Registration remains open for the CrosseFire Instructional Lacrosse Clinics in January and February for girls in Grades 3 through 12.

This week’s highlight is guest clinician and hometown hero Emily Garrity, an assistant coach at James Madison who helped North Carolina win its first NCAA Division I championship last year at Villanova. Garrity, a three-time All-American at Strath Haven, was the 2009 Phillylacrosse.com Player of the Year.CrosseFire

The details:

Clinics are available to all girls in grades 3 to 12. Seasoned high school athletes are challenged to meet the expectations of high level varsity and collegiate play.

First time players are initiated into our country’s fastest growing sport. Clinics are held on either Saturdays or Sundays at two different locations.

Sites and schedules are as follows:

SATURDAYS: Jan. 11-18-25 & Feb. 1-8-15, 2014 at Episcopal Academy, 1785 Bishop White Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073

Times:
12:30-2:00 PM – Grades 3-4-5-6

2:15-3:45 PM – Grades 7-8 & Middle School GOALIES –
4:00-5:30 PM – Grades 9-10-11-12 & High School GOALIES

SUNDAYS: Jan. 12-19-26 & Feb. 2-9-16, 2014 at CAT-Pickering, 1580 Charlestown Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460
12:00-1:30 PM Grades 7-8
1:30-3:00 PM Grades 9-10-11-12

Guest clinicians will be on hand on the following dates:

Jan. 18 – Emily Garrity– Asst. James Madison University Coach, Capt. of The 2013 NCAA Championship UNC Team, former Phantastix player from Strath Haven (2009 Phillylacrosse.com Player of the Year)

Jan, 25 – Corey Donohoe- Asst. Navy Academy Coach, Former UNC Capt. and holder of many scoring records Jan. 25th

PROGRAM CONTENT & FEATURES
• 1-1/2 Hour workout per clinic
• Strong emphasis on skill development
• Agility training & conditioning
• Advanced strategies & tactics
• Limited enrollment
• Regulation cages
• Special Indoor Balls
• Experienced Coaches ~ Including former World Cup players, US Team players, Division I All-Americans, College Players, & local high school coaches

EQUIPMENT
Each participant is required to provide her own equipment ~ stick, sneakers, water bottle, mouthguard and protective eyewear. Additionally, goalies must have a goal-keeper stick, helmet with a face mask and throat protector, padded gloves and a chest protector.

MOUTHGUARDS & EYEWEAR ARE MANDATORY for all players!

Registrations are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
