Michael Lamon

High School: Severn School, Maryland

Graduation Year: 2017

Position: Attack

College Choice: University of Pennsylvania (admissions process)

Club Affiliation: Baltimore Crabs

Lacrosse Honors: Maryland Freestate 2017 Team, Under Armor Shootout All-Star Game, Nike Blue Chip Rising Sophomores, Warrior Diamond Showcase

Academic Honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Penn? “With a combination of an outstanding Ivy League education, and a lacrosse program competing for both an Ivy League, and National Championship every year there are not many schools like Penn. It is in a great location which allows me to stay pretty close to home. I really like the coaching staff and look forward to playing for them.”

Thoughts on this past season/outlook for next season? “Last season, we lost a few key players to graduation, but for the most part we were a young team. Next season we are returning a lot of starters. We are very excited to compete in the MIAA this upcoming season, against some of the best teams in the Country.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank all of my coaches throughout youth lacrosse and High School for making me the player I am. Coach Wood, Coach Sherwood, Coach Howes, Coach Shilling, and Coach Jones just to name a few. My teammates, who helped me achieve this, and most of all my parents for supporting me through everything.”

Other schools considered: Loyola, Notre Dame, Princeton
