Susquehannock High School senior midfielder Michael Mattes has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Delaware Valley College.

Why did you choose Del-Val? “When I first visited Del Val I felt right at home with the small campus and Coach Gary Mercadante really inspired me to be a great student as well as a great athlete. I like his plan for the team and being able to play with other recruited freshmen just like myself.”
Outlook for your High School team? “We are bringing in a lot of young good talent this year, and I think we will have a good shot at winning Districts this year.”
Additional Comments: “I first want to thank my Dad Dan Mattes and my Mom Joan Mattes for being there for me through my whole lacrosse career and and pushing me in the right direction for my future. Also, I want to thank my sister Lauren Mattes who has been a really big help to me.”
