Why did you choose the school? “I loved everything I saw at Syracuse. It has a legendary lacrosse program, having won 15 National Championships. It is really exciting to be part of a program that contends for the title year in and year out. I really like how close-knit the coaches and the athletes are, and the team feels like a family. One of my summer coaches, Liam Banks, was an All-American at Syracuse, and through him I have learned about the program and I am extremely excited. I also liked the campus and the variety of undergraduate and graduate programs offered at Syracuse. I also have a lot of family from upstate New York and love that area.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “Last year we missed the playoffs and we lost some key seniors, but I think we will be solid this year. We are returning many starters and we have some young guys that are expected to step up this year.”
Other comments: “I only started playing the summer before freshman year, so I owe a huge thank you to the Banks family for giving me the opportunity to play for LB3, especially J.P. Banks and Liam Banks. I would also like to thank all of the Phillie Elite coaches that have helped me: Ryan White, Robert Day and Jay Foster. I would also like to thank Jim Beury who has been a mentor to me since I started playing. I would also like to thank my high-school coach Bill Krewson. Last but not least, I would like to thank my parents for all they have done for me, and I’d like to thank my high school and club teammates as well.”
