Springfield-Delco High School 2015 defenseman Jake Crowther has made a commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Florida Southern College.
Jake Crowther log:
High School: Springfield-Delco
Graduation Year: 2015
Position: Defense
College Choice: Florida Southern College
Club Affiliation: MSI Elite
What will you major in/study? Chemistry
Why did you choose Florida Southern? “I chose Florida Southern because I liked their academic programs, its location, and the small campus setting was exactly what I was looking for. After my visit with Coach (Marty) Ward, I felt this was the place for me and I would be a good fit in the program.”
Thoughts on last season/outlook for next season? “We have a lot to prove after our run last year, but I think we have a good group of guys who can make some noise in the Central League and post-season.”
Thank You: “First, I need to thank Coach Lemieux for his support and assistance throughout this process. I would also like to thank my parents for always supporting me and being my biggest fans for all these years.
“Finally I want to thank MSI for giving me the opportunity to continue to grow as a player, especially Coach Malampy, Coach Murray, and Coach McGlone. Special thanks to Coach Eufrasio, the extra hours of work this summer helped me realize my potential.”
Other schools considered: Salisbury, Wheeling Jesuit, Widener, Chestnut Hill, Susquehanna
